Originating in Crete, Greece, in the summer of 2025. Founded by Timothy Benedict and David Michael, with a small packet of Cafe Crème Cigarillos.

It soon became evident on the final day of the founders holiday that the cafe crème, whilst an excellent cigar of choice for an impromptu ‘meeting’ was not going to be the end, but the start of the Cigar Club.

On the final evening of the holiday, sat aside the pool, overlooking the Cretan sea with the female entity absent from the villa, A smooth, mid size, 2/5 strength Villager No. 7 set to a smooth playlist of soft Jazz and the warm hue of the dripping sunshine was the defining moment of pending addiction to a ‘gar, a mint and a coffee’

Back in the UK, what was conceived as a ‘holiday treat’ soon gathered pace and within 4 months, the first ‘Cigar Club’ humidor was sat atop the living room shelf, host to a selection of cigars and accoutrements sat quietly waiting for the founders to enjoy….
